listen i was very tired at the time it aint my fault i act drunk as hell when eepy anyways what if M.I.K.E stood for mind infiltration kill engine because of the thought not found error message and the correct prompts are actual memories which make M.I.K.E break during the "do you trust your eyes" segment because its actually attempting to erase somebodys memory thats basically ingrained into the mind, like trauma

Im thinking either mind infiltration or memory infiltration, mainly thanks to the error message when you put in an invalid input "Error 404: thought not found." but man in might also be a good option. Either way, theres a lil guy in this pc.

I greatly doubt mikes an exe, I think mike is its own thing that is possibly related to the abyss. But that point made about the human skin rugs does kinda makes sence. Im probably being a bit shalow but if mike is liked to anything I thought it would be dark mater from the kirby games. But now im starting to think we might get another blue rat!

theres more evidence this could be a sonic.exe based/just sonic.exe, as he usually infects a computer and is described as a "dark matter entity" on the 2011x wiki page and was literally born in the void. this could also go the pillar chase 2 route and have it be a new take on sonic.exe, like 2017x and lord x. the phrase "burn down your preconceptions" could also reference 2017x's area thats meant to be a burning city, presumably crisis city, however im not sure about any of these, as some may be just guesses with possible theorys as to what it could be. also, human skin rugs could be referencing fox skin/fur rugs, which means it might be tied in with tails, a regular victim in the sonic.exe stories, and sometimes is an actual human soul trapped in the game that took control of tails.

@DrizzyDragon: His compatibility coding for Kirby does set him to give Kirby the Abyss ability if Kirby eats him (even though he can't) & his victory theme seems to reference Bar-Kun's Rivals of Ather mods instead of referencing Undertale, Deltarune, or Five Nights at Freddy's so it's not out of the question.

Its kind of a stretch but I think the next character will be linked to the abyss, mainly thanks to the fact its an eye with tendrils. And the "do you trust your eyes?" Segment can link to how the abyss copys the fighters and takes their form. I dont really know how a pc ordering human skin rugs fits in with the rest of the theroy but its the best one I got rn.

I know its part of a arg but this character doesn't have any moves from what I can tell and that kinda takes the fun away, like it's a fighting game, not a puzzle game.

ok odd theory but what if eyes being important and transforming M.I.K.E to that weird eye thing is related to the final boss of the story mode in rivals, which is just eyes. what else is connected to the eyes? the abyss mode. the abyss mode is usually related to the darker greys, blacks and purples, and if you mix that with the "do you trust your eyes?" which can be relating to a fake person, theres only two routes for this. either its something related to sonic.exe, most importantly 2017x, or its something related to the alternates from the mandela catalogue.

There are a lot of references to the 5 senses in this arg, and typing nasus gives a small nod to novichok gas, therefore, someone, presumably mike, had their senses taken from them due to novichok gas weakening their nervous system (Including the nerves used for breathing) .
