Hi there @Geist700! The Xeno steel blocks, you are talking about, is fairly easy to get without having to fight Legacy. If you loot abandoned POI's on various planets (usually marked with those purple arrow icons), most have xeno blocks in the lower sections of the POI. All you need do is dismantle them after coring the POI.

OR, if you like, just find an irradiated planet. On occasion, you'll find structures in the iradiated zones that pop up as "Weird Alien Structure" or something of the like, and they are all made of Xeno material you can get with a multi tool!

So, xeno shouldnt be hard to get in small quantities if you know the right places! No fighting Legacy ships needed ;)
