Question: How functional is this mod on current versions?

@mwfraize Me too. I wish the developers put the same care into the psionic and biogenesis governments as the machine age ones. This mod is not currently working as it still needs to be updated for 4.0, and theres a lot of changes required. But I am working on it.

Honestly I prefer this mod's psionic governments over the dlc's. the dlc governments feel so bland compared to these ones. is this mod still working, or did the dlc break it?

@Senpail All my mods are made to be as balanced as possible. That said, while I would like to think I am good at this game, I am not a competitive player and I'm sure there are some things that should be toned up/down. If you have advice about balance, I'm also happy to tweak things.

Is the mod reletively balanced?

@Theminecreeper1 I plan to. The updated version will also have new civics for the biogenesis ascensions as well as the current genetic ones for anyone without that dlc. Assumably when we get more information about Shadows of the Shroud, the same will be true for that dlc.

If/when you update this can you please release a 3.14 Legacy version?

Paradox plans on expanding the Psionic aspect of the game probably best to wait like @alfharobby said but maybe wait until Shadow of the Shroud Expansion comes out

mfw i dont check the last updated date , mfw I don't check any comments from the author, mfw i dont understanding anything to do with mods and get angry when something isn't updated immediately, mfw i don't understand how different game versions cause error logs and crashes

Years of modding on thousands of games and people are still ignorant to the time and commitment it takes to updated a mod and go through all the error logs and update/patch out anything that now clashes with vanilla and people are still so ruthlessly ignorant.

This person makes and manages this mod for FREE.

Thanks for the update @Accorata take your time, id even argue to wait until the Shadows Of The Shroud DLC comes out which will also edit all the authorities and revamp the entire Psionic Ascension path, having said that it comes out Q3 so could be 2 months out, could be 5 months.

Rip to this mod for now it was realllyyyy fun and made me want to try every ascension and government type, seriously. Hopefully the wait for a 4.0 update isnt too long !

@Zeizei Pumpum I have plans for future updates, as well as plans for a 4.0 patch. However looks like Paradox is going to take a moment to figure this all out, so I'm going to wait to update this until things are sorted.

@WRXKiller-GM I will definitely adjust this mod for Biogenesis, but I'm not sure how yet given the limited knowledge we have about the dlc.

Are you planning on to do any changes to this mod to better fit with the new stuff they're adding in the new DLC or will there be not done or just a side mod for the people who do have that DLC?

@Saint Bricriu lol, I wish but I doubt it. I also had plans for a "Bioship Warfare" civic for genetic ascensions, but I stopped work on that once they made it clear they were going to add Bioships in the Grand Archive dev diaries.

I would actually love if they took stuff from this mod or any of my others, which they actually have the legal authority to with or without my permission if you read through their terms for modding. I don't plan on changing mine if they make one similar but if they requested I did, I'd obviously comply.

Bro, you literally predicted Biogenesis tit for tat, right down to the "Perfectionists vs Chaotic" paths. I seriously hope you get SOME sort of recognition from Paradox for this. Even if it's just getting the DLC or the season pass for free

Just out of curiosity, if there two very similar authorities from this mod and the biogenesis dlc, will you sue Paradox (a losing battle) or will you change you own modded authority to be something different

@w.girl27 Definitely will continue this mod. Hope Paradox's genetic and psionic authorities are done well, but theres more to this mod and more to expand upon within ascensions!

i hope you contiuine the mod dispite biogenesis announcment because its clear the dlcs similarly expanded psionics and touching up cybernetics and synthetics wont be finsihed for months and months after biogensis.

@xXDaBossModzXx It should, but remember that the authorities from this mod only become available after genetic/psionic ascension so you won't see them in the empire creation screen/government reformation window

Is this mod able to use the framework from the UI Overhaul Dynamic mod? I have a lot of mods (like over 200) and some of the government authorities shown in the thumbnail aren't present in the main game. I like for there for be a way to have access to all of them
