Disable all the mods except for this one and see if it works properly. If it does, then probably some mod is conflicting with this mod.

would be a neat detail if it were possible to show the HUD when the helmet was put on, instead of appearing as soon as you touch the HEV suit

Try running the game with only my mod and see if the problem still persists. If it doesn't, then it's probably some kind of mod conflict. Of course i highly doubt that there is some other mod that would conflict with my mod but it's worth a try.

Нет анимации надевания шлема, есть анимация рук, двигающихся от головы. Не стоит даже устанавливать. Для Блэк Мезы был аналогичный мод, там полная анимация была сделана со снятием очков и надеванием шлема

They still can since their beaks are sharp as hell but the helmet still prevents them from turning Gordon into zombie.
