@s1 Terraria’s netcode gives the client side a lot of authority over inventory management. When the mod duplicates an item the client just says “♥♥♥♥ you, I have more of this item now” and the server accepts it without verifying where the item came from. There’s really no server-side validation for most inventory actions

you should add a config that allows you to prevent non-host players from using this

@Michulecc While loaded into your world, go to the pause menu, then go to Settings > Controls > Scroll down until you find the Item Duplication Mod hotkeys under the Mod Controls tab, and set it to whatever you want

can anyone explain where is the hotkey? and what is hotkey?

no more getting an item for crafting and realising that you need 2 of that item

First of all, you are a legend and this mod is so fun to mess with friends with. Secondly, you can basically just use creative mode by pressing the hotkey while hovering over an item in the recipe browser. Thank you and I hope this mod does great.

Sorry for any problems yall are having. Please make sure the item you want to duplicate is in your inventory. Also your inventory menu must be open for it to work. I will update the description soon

Yeah same I have the Hotkey set up but still doesn't do anything when pressed

@Kazie It's not "Mod Configuration" it's "Controls" then you scroll down to "Mod Controls" then look for "Item Duplication Mod"

If you don't see it, make sure you enabled the mod in the "Manage Mods" tab first
