I'd take a look at how the warthunder maps and other in-game editor folks do out of map backdrops and airfields, as for airplanes not doing much, I disagree but I also think they're worth it FOR the added immersion, especially given their importance 2LW and where in the timeline you've put many of your maps

Simply because I've made these in the Map Editor, which doesn't allow for expanded scenery outside the confining map. I got to great lengths to build seamless maps so as to give a sense of immersion. Aircraft, flying above the obscuring detail that makes that work would break that immersion.

Besides, I'm not a big fan of how aircraft generally operate in Ravenfield anyway, in vanilla they don't seem to do too much and it seems even worse in Altrius.

I've genuinely loved this map series thus far and they really are great unofficial expansions to the Altirus content. BUUUUTTTT with how much of an emphasis 2LW puts on light air support (so much so that all but 3 maps in the series have air fields) it seems strange to me that 7 maps in not even the larger maps have airfields. Is there a reason you did that?

These are great maps to add to the Second Leersog War. It fills the gap of waiting because Sofa is always short on time. Nicely done!
