Furry Apocalypse includes the original Anthro Survivors ported to b42 (it's a little jank in the main menu). There is a Variety Pack of furry species ported to b42 too, which includes scalies, housecats, otters, insects, protogen, kitsune, avali, and a horde of OCs.

There was a Houscat Varieties mod in 41. Is there any chance it could be ported?

thank God this was finally transferred to B42, game's unplayable otherwise

@Jack Rossman yeah thats fine! Like I said in the description I don't really plan to maintain it once the official version is B42 compatible, this was mostly just meant to be a temporary fix

@Project Thylacine, its working on my end so it may be some sort of mod conflict.

@Vulpine and Jobnor, the clipping is still showing up on my end so I'm.... not totally sure whats happening.

My game is up to date and things appear to be working as expected. I appreciate you all letting me know when stuff changes though

most recent hotfix changed some stuff with the bone structure of the player model, so i wouldn't be surprised if that's what fixed it

Is it just me or did the clipping with f model just get fixed?

Nice! I'm trying to make a temporary version of my species to work alongside this mod, however I haven't figured out how to get it tagged for build 42 or how to get it to show up in B42's mod manager.

well. ill take this quick fix for the furry desire. i REALY need to give zomboid some time. and get a proper survival. for now my goal is a humble WEEK. i do mean it. offically solo i have not lived beyond a few days. a week is the plan.

Another known issue: clothing mods that alter the character mesh (such as heeled boots, for example) will cause a copy of the human skin to superimpose over the furry one. This does not happen with vanilla apparel.

Hey uh you're the only one I can really ask but is there any chance you'd be interested in doing this for the Sonic anthro survivors add-on? It's okay if not I'm happy to have anthros at all rn

B42 is playable now thank you!

@Navier in the original mod's code, the furry species is at its core a clothing item. This mod just lets you choose the clothing item to equip in the character creation menu. It occupies the same clothing slot as the "garter" item in the vanilla game.

Can I ask what did you do to make the mod work for b42?
