The hooves are already split. But this looks like the horses because all the horse gear need to fit them. Making it to have an elephant trunk would make all the head gear not to fit.

I understand my ideas might be a little far fetched & require lots of work but they're just some ideas. Overall, I'm saying the Horse shoud look less like the product of a Horse & Kenshi Bull mating with each other. This is a must-have mod for anyone who uses the Horse mod & understands Kenshi lore.

I have some ideas to distinguish them further from real life horses while adapting them to living on Kenshi's once (but importantly no longer) lush moon more. You could make their hoofs wider & split in the middle for better traction on sand (historic equines evolved for vast steppe plains). The chitin where their brows would be could be pronounced & their eyesockets deeper. This'd protect their eyes from dust storms better (maybe giving a slight T-Rex aesthetic).
For something quite alien, they could also have mouth-trunk hybrid like the Platybelodon (with their shovel jaws). I think it should be smaller though. The Platybelodon was good at scooping up lots of foliage at once because of it, making it a fast eater.
The Platybelodon were ancestors of Elephants, who have a very good sense of smell, which I think would benefit a Moon-Horse quite a lot.

really needed this as i felt the horse looked way too out of place in kenshi compared to the other wildlife, still a shame we cant ride something alittle more out there then a horse

It would be nice if this was a variation of the horse, like added more types instead of replacing how they look all together. Looks nice though.

This is based on the vanilla bull, and it does not have any plates on the legs XD

I think it would be better to make the bone plate on the face solid and add some plates on the legs, because wolves usually bite hoofed animals on the legs.

can you add bones on the ribs? also some bones on the knees or legs. cuz horses do uses them for martial arts atk.
