@rodeo regarding the lack of obstacles / cover on the beach, there's actually a bunch of angled half trenches on the beach that function as effective cover, hope this help's.

Hi, map maker here, I am not an historian nor an expert with the map editor.
I am aware the map has inaccuracies, I made it for fun in my spare time.

"Very different" I'd say is a stretch, but again, I didn't create the map so I'm unable to ammend the emplacements made by the map maker.

It's certainly better than what was there before but the German defenses are still very different from what is shown on Michaels maps

@jaybee I didn't realize there was so few obstacles on the beach at Omaha in real life. Well damn thanks for keeping it authentic then man!

@rodeo I didn't make the map so I'm unable to make any changes to it's size, I've placed spawns up down the entire length of the Vierville Dog Green / Charlie sector, and set the max US spawns to 70, it's down to the game whether to spawn everyone in or not. As for the cover, that's just how it was unfortunately, not the BEST for gameplay but it's accurate.

@rodeo There are two Osttruppen squads present, I've given their SL PPSH's, other than that you'll find it's just regular Germans and then guys from the 352nd. Thanks for playing both of you.

Masterful! The entirety of the beach is alive from the start! Other Omaha missions either don't have enough challenge or are made for the player who wants to sit in a pillbox all-day. This one is extreme fun for those who love going on the assault!

gorgeous map, probably my favorite omaha beach map well done, I hope this one gets popular. My crtiques: There is barely any cover on the beach, I would add more as the beach looks sparse. Also the map is huge which is great but I found it to be almost too big. I was alone for most of my playthroughs even at max player count, just felt very empty the whole time. Lastly the germans are using ppsh-41's which if im not mistaken was not used by them. Keep it up man!
