got any ideas what jetpack configs i should try?

Ope, I found the issue, for some reason if you choose '[Starwars] Jetpack' for the sound override with the '[SW] JT-12 Jetpack' as the preset config, it causes the issue as I mentioned below.

I chose a different preset config with the '[Starwars] Jetpack' sound override and the jetpack thrust worked as far as I can tell, but there was no sound.

I have literally no idea why I can't get this mod to work. I just tried to test the mod alone and still it won't work.
The settings are default except for the following:
Preset config and model are set to '[SW] JT-12 Jetpack'
Thrust behavior is set to 'Jump Boost'
Sound override is set to '[Starwars] Jetpack'

One thing I've noticed is that when using the mod, I'll see what looks like an empty fuel bar on the right side of the screen before I spawn in for the first time, and then it disappears afterwards.

Idk maybe just have a capsule collider that is 10% bigger that the players collider and have the jetpack force dissabled whenever that capsule is colliding with a phisics object other than yourself. It might not be perfect but it seems like it could fix the problem for the most part.

Everything is perfect except you are still able to fly through walls and floors and things like that when jet packing and moving forward twards an object. Idk how to fix this other than maybe disabling the jetpack when a 12" raycast coming from your body collides with a phisics object.

i tested it for like 20min everything worked perfect! ill keep u posted if anything broke

@SpaceSl,Ut New 1/2 of the update. Partial fall damage mitigation fix for first flying mode, the others should be completely fixed unlike the first one. Also additions to settings

would love fall damage to be toggle-able, i want to feel like in helldivers where miss use of the jetpack sends you on your ass

@SpaceSI,UT I thought i did add something to cancel out fall damage which i could change to be toggle-able but no its not in the script. I probability removed it a while back if I did? made some changes in case balance affects it. the update will take another day

yes but add things like fall damage when you are not actively using jet pack to break the fall, and fix the unlimited jetpack fuel

add the helldivers 2 jump pack

this thing is WAYYY over tuned for a jump kit btw, it FLINGS you across the map

Strange, I couldn't get it to work either, I did enable the mutator, and used the J-12 preset with jump boost.

works great, it is a mutator so before starting match enter mutator and enable the jetpack option u will be equipped with jetpack when game starts

Whenever I press shift while using the jetpack, it multiplies the thrust by at least 3-4 times. Instead of a decent leap (I'm using the titanfall skip jump), I end up going halfway across the map. This is on the lowest thrust setting. Not quite sure if its intended but its difficult to control when the jumps are so large. If you could consider tuning this it would be much appreciated! Also, I just want to mention that this is an amazing mod and you've done a great job with it!

@Short-Face Acend button is attached to jump keybind.

Not to be rude, but could you please add a keybind editor for this? Or at least change the ascend button to something other than the Left Mouse Button (which I shouldn't have to tell you, makes us fire our currently equipped weapon).
