An other limitation you could add on the description (or i'm sorry, i don't use the mod correctly) : bills from work benches can't see amount accross level when configuring "Pause when satisfied"

Hello, I'm not sure i use well this mod.
I have a pawn who has construct 3 and grow 3, construct is higher priority because it is at left of grow. I have a wall to build on level 1 and my pawn prefers grow tasks at ground level.
I just delete the wall and rebuild it 2 times, 3 times and hop, my pawn goes to construct without any change on the floor.
Are there some things to configure ?

testing things out with a multi floor gravship and for some reason the pawns, even if they are presently on the second floor, will travel to the ground floor to sleep on the floor rather than sleep in a bed on the 2nd floor, even though they will go to the second floor to work, eat, or sit at a chair.

im having an issue of pawns losing their specified zoning when they switch floors. They switch to "Unrestricted" (im assuming because the upper level is "unrestricted", but i cant carry the zone over?) then don't switch back to their assigned zone (ie inside my walled in compound) when they go back downstairs

@Kromender Just double checked and no that does not work. Since other wind based buildings also wont work my best guess is that wind is not modelled on higher floors.

This mod is awesome. Once you tweak things it seems to run extremely well. I've noticed that sometimes pawns neglect certain levels but thats probably an issue on my end with the way I have things set up. As I teak it more and more they're more active on all levels.

A question. I am assuming its not possible to have animals, dryads, or mechs move between levels as easily as regular pawns do? Or if it is possible I would assume it comes with a sizeable performance hit?

When you add a third dimension to a two dimensional game, this is the sort of revolutionary work (and troubleshooting) we get. Part of me feels this is amazing, and another makes me worried I'll get stuck trying to figure it all out. Still hard to complain.

how can i connect the substructure in the second floor of a gravship? I built the stairs and the substructure, but it's marked as red, and when I launch everything dissapears, so, do I need other gravengine or other mod for the gravship to work with multiple floors??

@dead beat gamer , a wind pump pumps water from the earth to use via pipes, since there is no earth, there is no water stored on the ground so the pump wont work, from what ive read, maybe try using pipes to bring water to the higher floors?

i dont see a guide, can this mod be added to existing save games? i installed a mod that i thought did the same thing, but turns out its only textures and fake stairs lol

I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to make the wind pump from Dub's Bad Hygiene work on higher floors. It seems there is either no wind on L2 and up, or the pump just fails to work. Anyone have any advice regarding this?

When going down, when going down, it generate an underground layer. Is it possible for a modder to manipulate what/how it is generated?

I don't know if this would work (probably no) but I was thinking about something like, making a tunnel underground to allow my pawns to safely pass through certain zones, but I think that would be too complex for the pathfinding

Oh nevermind, I do see configurations now and how to move stuff up and down. Not terrible. Wish multiple floor storages could serve as direct storages as well. If Ground could recognize bottom floor storage and pawns would automatically do up and down it would make it so much easier

idk man... cant haul from one floor to another. says there is no storage to place stuff from basement to Ground.... and if storage is in basement, they wont use it to construct either....

This mod is killing my crafters, they're stuck in some sort of loop.

wake up
Craft (food, clothes, research)
put away crafted items
change level (walk up stairs)
change level (walk down stairs)
repeat
sleep.

no eating, no relaxing
the ONLY thing i have on the 1st floor is their bedrooms

@Elgate : I have a 2 floor gravship.
You need a gravextender on the second floor to keep your second floor.
Beware that if you ever move the Gravcore on the ship, the next time you fly off, if you didn't dismantle/rebuild the extender, the whole floor will move the same way... this can have dire effects (I have first hand experience XD)

@sevrun there is a menu where you define where activities take place for each individual colonist, such as recreation, there you can state that a colonist sleeps at ground, spend recreation at F1 and so on.

When I play with the "Dubs Central Heating" mod and place the stairs up or down, it creates a dimension, which breaks the "Dubs Central Heating" mod: the radiators stop giving heat, etc.

@Atlas I had the same problem. Every floor is basically its own map and you have to define a seperate home area on each floor-map. Maybe this might be your problem.
