hello, new to this mod and really excited to play as chimera, sadly failed to do so......
I crafted the slug, used it on a bot crew, it refused to consume item &let me transform into chimera, what can cause such situation?

Hey Hunter, idk if its intencional but when I change to Exohusk I cant command npcs and forbit items and such but with prawler and chimera I can do that. Got any hints or somethin?

The prowler lets you switch back and forth, it's meant as a utility ability

Hey hunter, absolutely love this mod, is there something I’m missing about the prowler variant? I cannot hold any weapons, and my bite does almost no damage, even with all the perks unlocked. Same with the chimera, It only seems to have the same husk bite that doesn’t really do much. Am I missing something?

I never knew that i need Husk in my crew until i tried this. For some reason, i really like my friendly mass-murdering Chimera, Great work and thank you for this mod :) Though i must ask, is there no way for her to attack with her claws? Mine is just using Husk stinger as a knife, which looks kinda underwhelming, seeing how big of a punch she could have.

Lua alone was too much of a hassle as this mod changes a lot of the game's base code so I changed it

So my friend helped me find the lua settings, but... oh wait it actually worked, uh... many thanks, but didn't this mod work on the default lua settings before?

@Patriots1007, @Fenrisúlfr, when I tried to enable this mod, I used the reload lua command, what did it tell me? Hunter's Husk Job requires Hunter's Genetics - Base, please install this mod and put it higher in the load order, guess what? Yeah, I have it too, I tried running it without it, but the error is exactly the same. As for the lua settings, I don't really understand what you're talking about, does lua have settings? If so, where are they? Regarding uninstalling lua and installing it again, I also tried. I'm not sure if it matters, but at first I had launch parameters for lua, then after nothing worked, I disabled them and downloaded lua manually, then I uninstalled lua and reinstalled, and still nothing

Ksio, we have specific directions posted on how to verify the mod is working correctly in the Discussions page of the mod. Run through those as close to the letter as possible, and if it still isn't working then ask again. Surely we can figure it out.

Hi, when I try to run this mod, for some reason I appear as a human, and no, I'm not the type of person who doesn't read anything, I have both the server-side Lua and the client-side Lua, but nevertheless, I still turn into a human, after I tried to go to my friend's with this mod, the problem repeated itself, I'm not sure if this is a problem with this particular mod or Lua in general

that might be a problem with lua then, i remember having issues with other lua mods despite everything being set up correctly

Most common issue is that people enable the mod in the modlist, and select Lua for Barotrauma when starting a server, which makes Lua not run for some reason

@Hunter404, does this mod work on non windows systems?

Second off, gonna need to have a teeny bit more context here.

What's your load order looking like?
What server executable are you using, if you're testing using a multiplayer server? If you're using sub editor as your testing grounds, this step won't matter.

Please specify the exact steps you used to install just so we can verify that everything you did was in fact correct

Are you running any other mods that could potentially conflict?
