If you are playing in sandbox a card will not spawn. To work around this you can type in the console with cheats on "ent_fire case pickrandom". This will spawn a random keycard.

You have scrolled past the giant (OUTDATED) text in the title. The newest version is ttt_bank_b12 which has also been tagged by this addon. Guess I need to add even more text to make this even more obvious.

well in that case good idea not allowing it to be closed. However you could have it allowed to be closed by other players to entrap the players in the vault to prank them, just a thought.

dgl29 you cannot close the vault. In the first version it was possible but it became more of an annoyance when people would just hide inside the vault the whole game.
