I also ported a few props from HL:Addons & Prefabs a long time ago. The props are ready, the only downside is that I have not categorized the models, so there will be a bit of a delay. Especially for your SFM, I can make an addon with all my ported propami. Just add as a friend and message me.

Like rename it Scientsit_extended.mdl or add a subfolder?
As for StudioMDL limitations, have you tried cra0kalo's modified one I finally managed to get it working and it bypasses the 32 texture limit among other things.
