I like the alternative approach idea

I’ll think about adding a Cvar or another addon to switch to that behavior. But this addon allows the player to save the stunstick and use it for armor whenever needed during battle or when loose stunbatons are not nearby, like a portable battery.

I think a better way to implement such a thing would be that if you don't have a stunstick, you get the weapon, but any subsequent stunsticks will act as batteries if you do.
