@meierhans Flashlights should have updated with the features you were looking for. They're client-side so tell people on your server to disable or lower the size from the spawn menu or using the convars "combinelight_sprite_size" and "combinelight_sprites". Sorry it took some time, my internet is very slow atm and I was working on optimising the Addon a little bit more before publishing.

Any news about adjustable flare intensity / flare disable convar? I don´t want to remove the addon from my server, because it adds so much atmosphere, but it is often really hard to tell what enemy type you are fighting with it turned on

@Painevan Blame the Source Engine for being a 20 year old buggy mess. Not a fault in my mod. Change the shadow resolution settings in Utilities > User > Combine Flashlight and use the 64 bit branch, if that doesn't work then your PC just sucks sorry.

It's valid to point out that kind of flaw in your mod if you want it to be accessible
