I released an update that adds a button that lets you choose what percentage of durability artifacts must have to be repaired (to the left of the auto repair on/off button).
If you don't see additional button I suggest unsubscribe and then subscribe this mod again.

Now that I think about it and look at the artifact repair cost table it's best (cheapest) to repair artifacts when they are 50-55% durability.
Soon I will add system to make sense of it.

I haven't changed anything in the artifact repair cost system. Something not working properly? Cost of repairing artifacts is simply high and depends on the durability and quality of the artifacts.
You can test this by saving the game and testing at what cost mod will repair all artifacts and after loading the game trying to manually repair all artifacts. The cost should be identical.
I'm gonna un and resub, if i say nothing after, then it was just bugged for me.
