it just happens too much
Like imagine playing the (Half Life 2) Campaign and you destroy a Helicopter the stuff coming down from it could realistically get stuck if it hits the ground hard enough
Now also imagine if getting hit by Sharp object's without any armor allowed them to get stuck in your flesh and you have to carry it on you until you find a healing station because it would cause bleeding if you pull it out so you have to heal yourself at a station right after pulling said Sharp object out
