ok, that makes sense, I have a new problem tho, before the update you just released, many people where having issues connecting, including myself, I temporarily disabled the mod from the mod list and every one is able to connect. I looked into the log files but i don't see any potential errors. I'm not too sure if there is a mod conflict or a mod mismatch with server to client but I'll look into it more any post my findings if you'd like...

The gravity limit should stop them from spawning in any planet or moon wells, including earthlike.

Sergeant Kelly, I went into the MES config and was able to stop Bosses from spawning in on earthlike, was that looked into or did i just make every spawn not spawn on earth.

I've pushed an update that should enforce gravity limits on the bosses. Sadly, no more free capital ships!

I encountered the UTC Lethal Encounter on a planet too, However it just fell out of the sky. :steamsad:

I encountered an UTC Lethal Encounter on a planet too. And now my problem, in space, is that a frigate is harassing my space station. I cannot target the ship nor are the turrets doing anything - it's name/signal showing as green, weaponcore indicator is blue (as it is for friendlies). I also cannot find the faction in the faction list to declare war :D Did I do something wrong? I did add them later in an existing save though.

Couldn't check out the cruiser but the accompanying drones had a full loadout of Ion Thrusters

Hmm, lethals shouldn't spawn in atmosphere, I'll check it out.

I think there might be a problem with Ships in Atmosphere? I went to an Lethal encounter and all the ships just fell out of the sky

For some reason spawned ships doesn't have faction and they are `trying` to fire at own ships.
By trying I am mean they are locking on their own ships but struggle to fire (i.e. they are firing in rare cases).
So most ships, even defensive drone-like ships, are just staring at each other and doing nothing.

after my jetpack dampener are disabled how long do they need to get online again? I always crashes to the ground after i got to near to one npc ship

Everything in this mod works fine for me and its really cool, but when I destroy a bounty and I get a message that there's a reward nearby; there's always nothing. I even looked in the entity list and couldn't find anything near me

Eventually! For now they'll show up as pirates in this pack ocassionally.

Also @Sniper, as for the ships dropping from the sky, I would check your full mod list, esp any atmosphere mods.

It's every ship I ever see spawn. Exceptions from this are a atmo engine'd fighter I got as a reward.

What ships are you seeing fall to the ground? Anything in atmo should be loaded with a ton of hydrogen thrusters.

For whatever reason all UTC ships will not fly in atmosphere. Happens for me on Earthlike and Pertam. Not using any thruster mods that change the thrust power.

ok i was wondering if there was a keen bug because the timer persists even after bluprinting and pasting again the botton to claim isnt there but if they dont disapear thats coo

It looks like that's an issue with Keen's claim feature, it's tied to encounters only. I'll have to revert it to normal. In the meantime, they won't despawn even if it reaches 0.

Can planet base defenders be produced more frequently and last longer?

@Sergeant Kelly, unfortunately the planetary installations still bury themselves in the ground, also i have an issue with the Elite Cruiser falling out of the sky when the Lethal Encounter starts.

Hello. Do any other people have this problem with the planetary installations?
I saw many Hab pods and 2 antenna controllers (only 2 spawned yet) that were buried with only one or 2 rows of blocks sticking out of the ground

I also saw one storage depot was buried up to the landing pads

I am unsure if those bases need a better offset in their configuration or if this is caused by the Expansive Mods pack (the mod pack has a planet voxel smother). this is the first time I am using this mod pack and this specific MES mod

Note I am on the Lantha planet of the world: Trithorne Cluster (Real Solar Systems World) if you wish to replicate

Glad you guys are liking them! The larger ships do have extra cockpits and crew quarters for crew! I've additionally set up the mod to work with Crew Enabled, so standard ships will have a security detail and elite ships will have an even larger security detail.

As for the lethal encounters, they seem to be working for me! Also, I've added additional bounty rewards for planetary takedowns, as well as new bounty ships.

I am adding this to my current play through, really like the designs! Are there many seats on these ships? I play with Crew Enabled and was hoping there were a lot of seats on some of the bigger ships as that dictates how many NPCs can spawn with CE.

Loving the mod so far awesome work. i have one slight issue, the Lethal Encounters don't spawn anything at all for me the GPS just disappears. Have you seen/heard about this before?

Awesome mod! I really liked the bounty hunting spawns, just a doubt about then. when i destroy a bounty ships the UTC sends a message saying they are sending a reward, but i didn't notice any changes, is it a SC bonus for hunting the ships? I don't remember how much money i had to see if thats the case

I'm seeing that too with the other MES mods, unfortunately planetary installations can sometimes spawn in the air or underground, depending on distance from the map's center.

See that some of the installations, example UTC Base with the large Antenna Dish on top, likes to spawn underground. Not sure if due to playing on a planet with water mod (Terra with water)

Can confirm they are literally shooting each other. Had another escort spawned in and the fighters immediately sent out a message stating intercepting targets. Turns out they start shooting at the cargo ship they themselves are escorting. Pretty fun ngl but havent seen this occur for other MES mods.

Well that's bizarre! Are you sure they're shooting each other or just running each over by accident?

I can also confirm this. Saw a large ship spawn with two X2 Surveyor drones and at first they were just staring each other down before they turned on their own

Sorry for the spam. I notice a major issue. For some reason when a planetary cargo ship spawns in with escort fighters, the fighters turns against it and starts shooting at it. So far i notice this for the Corvette C7

Also not sure if this was just a coincidence but i have an AI block that would broadcast a warning message to any unfriendly flyovers. Of course i dont expect responses and only added it in for immersion purposes. but UTC actually gave a reply: 'Your hostility has been noted." if it wasnt a coincidence, thats pretty cool and wish other MES mods have that. Liking this MES mod so far.

Most likely this is within the Imber mod itself and cant be changed but i notice when Imber and UTC are around each other, Imber would send out a warning in the text chat referring to Incon. but it was actually directed to UTC. weird but close enough i guess lol
