You've succeeded in making Jacob more appealing than the video games did! With the abilities as-written now, Jacob has THE most powerful Level 1 ability spread of any character. His Pistol Burst is inferior to Liara's (3 damage for that is bonkers), but with only one die for Shotgun Blast, he can dish out seven damage per turn, which is nuts. You may want to consider just copying Wrex's Shotgun Blast for balancing purposes. Although, Jacob starts off incredibly glassy and the Loyalty ability mitigating that is nice.

Also, "Lift Grenades" is misspelled.
