since Ive started using this mod I have encountered a bug on multiple runs: whatever material I am covered with (happened with blood and concentrated mana) it stays on my character permanently after entering the first holy mountain, no matter what I cover myself with the initial stain will not come off. Changing skins doesn't do anything, and leaving the game doesnt do anything either

You'd need something like the ComponentExplorer mod, and then run this using the lua console `ModSettingSet("arena_cosmetics_currency", 99999)`

The credits are a leftover from the noita arena mod which this originates from, the only way to get them is to cheat them in, or play arena since they should carry over

@sicklecellanemia "kind of a trash mod if it takes jumping through a hoop to complete and in the end you cannot even use." would you like to make a better one? these are the hoops that Steam and Noita fundamentally require one to jump through to be able to use Unsafe API mods

its just a fundamental limitation of the mod, its possible to get around in this instance and someone is currently creating an improved version of this mod- but this aint it, this mod is ported code from an existing system in Noita Arena, simply wasn't entirely built with the workshop in mind

If you are doubtful, the full code of the mod is p much open source so anyone is free to have a look if they're unsure

This skin has stain issues. If you're in a longer run, you might be permanently stained with a liquid. Might be good for a short while, but becomes detrimental and annoying over time. I speak from experience here.

extracted, put in mods folder, put in noita proxy folder, tried multiple things but still says "needs unshackle"...

For people who are confused about installing unshackle: go to your root Noita folder and throw the unzipped folder into the mods folder.

If confused about finding the mods folder: Go to your steam properties, click "installed files" then click browse. There you'll find the mods folder ^w^

Are there any places that people have been uploading skins? I'm terrible at this but want to see what other cool, simple stuff people have made (that aren't just other workshop mods).

unshackle is a standalone mod that makes this mod work, you just need the latest version of that off github

@Dwebs download it from github releases and install it as you would any manual mod, then enable it like any other mod

Okay the issue should be fixed now, it was related to multi threaded loading, for some reason in my own game single threaded loading was turned on which avoided the crash lmao

Getting a crash playing on a fresh install of noita with just Unshackle 2.6.0 and the github version of Skin Editor, tried the workshop version too but that did not stop the crashes.
