I can use a damage widget and try that and see what happens

You could exchange the small propane tanks for the large one, I am fairly certain that one breaks destructible walls.

There is a night version of this map too, I changed the walls slightly and added some extra gas canisters, I am disappointed with the gas canisters because they don't destroy the walls. That is something I will need to check in future maps.

You can keep this mission going for as long as you want. The only way to end it is to either lose all your men or destroy the building walls to eliminate the tangos when they spawn. the most I got was 1989 kills.
