why don't you just split this into two cosmetics, why does it have to be like two hats in one. this would cause atrocious clipping if you have the style with the hat on with any other hat?

Also this barley looks like something within TF2.

the plates are really cool! but yea like others have said its a little all over the place, maybe could use more styles or sperating it into multiple items. Also is this a reference to something?

it's a cool proof-of-concept, i'll give you that.. but i'm not sure if the practical application is there
the hat alone is cool, but with it being a misc like this, you can't get it in unusual quality!
additionally, if you want a style that just removes the face bandages, there would need to be two more styles as opposed to one.
again, it's a neat idea, but i just wish they were separate cosmetics, since they look so awesome!
