I think thats a nice trade off, i feel like geo therms are huge and mess up my base, so makeing where i have to think more about placement seems like a good down side.
You can install this mod "Geothermal Power Extender Compatibility Pack" , and then you can place extenders around the geothermal generators from other mods.

@SilkCircuit - Would you mind adding support for Advanced Geothermal Generators from Vanilla Furniture Expanded? I'm sure it would be able to work the same way, but with a different Def when checking to be installed. Maybe even have a more expensive version of the extenders or additional research needed for the advanced generators?
@Quilava I’ve rebalanced the extenders a bit to address the cost concerns: they’re now 2x2, with a max of 14 per geyser, reducing the materials required—14 components and 2520 steel for the same extra W. Power per component is also increased to 257 W to stay at the additional 3,600 W additional per geyser. I’ll look into compatibility with Advanced Geothermal Thermal from VE and will include that enhancement in a future update—thanks for pointing that out.
@dinhkhiem199833 I appreciate your idea about making them linkables to directly boost thermal generator output. It’s a great suggestion and I’ll explore it for the next update.
Right now if you build all 24 of these, it gonna cost A LOT just for extra 3600 power, Advance Geothermal Thermal from VE still a better option for me, also i wonder if this compatible with that too or not
