Hi.. I looked into using the +Ultra particle effects mod separately by downloading the original mod for HL2 Mmod.. I put them in the custom folder (for vanilla HL2) but the game won't launch. Someone in the thread under the mod on gamebanana said they got it working in vanilla HL2 and they just had to delete 2 files.. annoyingly they didn't say which ones. If the author of this mod or anyone can help or give me a hint i'd be super grateful !

How do you mean 'use this mod as a patch? Will the mmod +ultra particle effects mod work in HL2?

Can you make a mod with just the muzzle flash/Audio FX and no anim? I'm trying to mod this on top of a few gun mods.
