Its the input sound effect from Heritage For The Future. When you input tandem in that game, you have a few seconds to program a string into your stand. Every button you press will make one of those "ping" sounds. I just got the sound and mixed together a random combination.

It does this thing for me that it does with another mod I use that uses time stop where when not selecting a move, the screen is black (including the replay) and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it?

IM generally not going to play this until the full version is out. Not only does he need several nerfs, Deo was made better than this (insert word that i cant be bothered to place here) and he actually can be fought against. My personal ideas for nerfs: nerf damage, frame move (ex. Stamp, his anti air, etc.) increase, remove frame disadvantage on tandem (seriously, that's annoying and another character, Yharim, don't have that issue), and probably make him set more towards ONE playstyle than pretty much all of them (basically what i mean is since ninja is rushdown + gambler, I would rather see Jotaro/Joe to at least become a punisher + rushdown or rushdown + grapple).

How possible is it to make it so that Mini TS moves don't charge your meter? it seems like an exploit at best and a disgusting gimmick at worst that your meter burns that give you basically free combos give you back a decent chunk of the meter you spend on them

- timestop will still be blockable in the final version, that isnt changing
- more interactions arent really feasible due to me not being the creator of deo. more advanced interactions would require putting said interactions onto deo itself, which im not the mod owner of. it would be a large hassle between me and nok to get those interactions going, and nok doesnt have any plans to update deo anytime soon. the intro and death interaction are done entirely by joe, just cleverly hidden to make it look like deo does something.

Searched through the comments a bit, and just have one question.
When the complete version of timestop is finished, will the enemy hustler be able to cancel it by blocking it? But overall, I think jotaro is honestly a really decent hustler when it comes to combos, and tandem summons (although being advanced) can be absolutely devastating if you know what combo route ur going for. And also I love the special interaction with deo, and would be cool if they had more interactions when fighting.

also actual balance talk i feel like this dude needs a way to control space early in the games, as it stands he can't really contest with something like cowboy's h slash outside of tandem summon.

and his really big rock smash move does a little too much damage and makes time stop a pretty boring mechanic as the optimal route is time stop into 5 rocks smashes

does anyone know how to land the time stop? as far as I can tell it entirely relies on your opponent not sprinting through all of their moves and finding out you can block it, als no matter how many frames it is until they're ready if you do a time stop they will be ready next turn and able to block.

for attacks: stops time very briefly, basically giving you a few extra frames of hitstun on hit.

Another bug report, the back throw is actionable when Joe is in the tandem mode. By that I mean it allows the opponent to act. Very strange

its already planned to be changed to have a much higher cost once the final mechanic is finished. the only reason it exists in the beta build is because its one of jotaros most popular moves.
