If you ever come back, I'd strongly recommend switching away from GPortal
- most of the issues I've heard about with mods and servers seem to come from there.

@swuash20 - I use Gportal (I know yuck lol) and I did remove and re-subscribe to mods and did the same on the server but nothing helped. I lost all items in these crates as there is something I stored in them that changed. It was all my building stuff (ropeways, etc..). I got frustrated and have not played since lol. I will get over it and come back soon. Love your mods!

Hi! A lot of things were changed in the last update. The entire lightning mod was reworked and removed from the collection pack.
In connection with that, changes were also made to:
"Collection Pack - Main", "Collection Pack - Holiday", and "Collection Pack - Cosmetics".

How are you experiencing the issues?
Where is your server hosted?
Have you tried unsubscribing and then resubscribing again?

I am crashing when I try to open my chests with Building Items. These mods are the only ones updated that I use. Can you let us know what was removed?

It could, of course, also be related to the new update. The modkit still hasn’t been updated to the latest version with the major patch.

Unfortunately, I don’t know of a solution at the moment. I mostly play in singleplayer and currently don’t have a server to test on, although I do plan to set one up later.

In the long term, I intend to split the mods so each one has its own building, without requiring players to download multiple mods just to make things work. However, I don’t have the time to implement that right now.

That said, if it was working before, it’s still possible that the client and server are running different versions. Is there a way to force the server to update the mods to ensure everything is synced?

Yes as written in another message I use the Main, Light and Cosmatics, as well as some mods from Licifer
The error is that I can not make the workbenches to make the deco items on my server in a new singleplayer game it works. The idea with the ID's was I know it from other games when you have a few mods overwrite them.

Hope you have an idea would like to use the mods without having to start a new savegame.

I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues. No, they can't share the same item ID, since each item only gets one name, and they’re quite unique—the name is based on the actual object, so there shouldn’t be any duplicates.

But I’d like to understand more about the issues you’re having. What kind of problems are you seeing? And which of my mods are you using? Is it just the Main mod, or also Lightning and others?

And is any of it working in the game?

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately it does not work on the server with the existing savegame in the singleplayer it works as expected. Is there a known overlap with other mods. So that maybe an item ID is overwritten? I just don't want to start again.

I updated it this evening, so it’s possible that either your server or client is already updated while the other isn’t—and that can cause issues. But it should resolve itself once both sides are fully updated.

1. Download the addons "Collection Pack - Main".

2. Activate the mods the first time you launch the game.

3. Create a new game or join one you've already created.

4. In the game, build a Workshop (Soulmask’s own), and inside it, construct both the Arcane Smith and the Arcane Workshop.

5. Place the new buildings wherever you’d like.

I am re-uploading the mod after making a few minor adjustments. I hope everything is now functioning as intended. Please note that it may take a few hours—or possibly a couple of days due to the weekend—before the new version becomes available.

This mod appears to cause a visual issue with the new build planning feature of the base game. Instead of the translucent white blueprint model you get the original fully-built model and can't tell that it hasn't actually been built yet until you walk through it or mouse over it to see the "fill" tooltip.

I can run every mod I have except your Collection mods and it works normally, but if i run with no mods at all other than Collection Pack - Main I get that behavior.

This mod adds 3 new buildings that is used for my other mods.
"Stove" to make new food (only Cosmetics)
"Arcane workshop" to make candles.
"Arcane smith" to make materials for bigger lamps with candles, and other cosmetics.

You make these 3 buildings in the workshop.
And to make the new items from them, u need one or both of my other mods. :)
