oh, you need to make the hatch a seperate object and use joints in the in-game editor and enable collisions

nice! on my old subnautica ragdolls mod I made the seamoth and cyclops, but I didn't get to make the lifepod. This is awesome!

if you have the physic gun mod you can freeze the pod on top of water, just popped on my head.

You can make it indestructible as a STATIC object rather than a dynamic one. If you place it in the water, it gives off the illusion its floating! (Although I would make a second spawnable for that in case people still prefer the dynamic one)
