Octobyt3 this was a quick reskin of my other mod that put the toolgun over the magnum, I am aware of the buggy reload animation but I am having trouble editing the reload animation files.

Here is the mod that puts the toolgun over the .357 magnum

My main issue with this is that the reload animation is of the Magnum so it's longer than it should be
Other than that It's really good

Actually, a version that replaces the Magnum would be great

with over 5000 hours of expertise in Gmod i can verify that this addon is lore accurate

The reason why the gun sometimes doesn't play the firing animation is because half life 2's pistol uses a few different animations depending on how long you've been spam-firing the pistol, the model doesn't have these animations so when the game goes looking for them it can't find them.

You'll need to edit the model's .qc file and define the other firing animations in order to get it to work.
