To anyone focused on achievements; one of these mods causes the rock models to take up more space than usual in episode 2. Because of this; the 4th Lambda Cache detected by the car's radar becomes unreachable.

Is it weird to say I found almost no issues with your collection? The only times I saw issues were more texture-related, but it happened very rarely, and for some funny reason, throwing objects with texture issues underwater fixes them.
The only complaint I have is that some of the new rocks added in Episode 2 completely blocked me from getting the fourth cache, preventing me from completing the Cache Checker achievement.
After that, I have no complaints. Great collection, mate!

Just launched the game with this collection for the first time and it looks like the trees in the first chapter are all missing textures

в принципе сборка не плохая мне нравиться, есть конечно баги как примеру сетчатый забор без текстур но это уже не вина автора а скорее самой Valve и их всратый Workshop HL2, надеюсь найдётся человек разбирающийся в файлах текстурах и моделях HL2 и поможет автору в доработке сборки, а так могу только пожелать автору удачи.

At the end of episode 2 when Eli picks up the metal pipe, it dissapears when it is supposed to be in his hand, a nitpick i know but which mod could be causing this, also the alyx assets replacer causes missing texture on some floor junk.

This collection is amazing but it's been taking 10 years to load the game up on my pc, I figure it's because I'm still on anniversary edition update but yeah absolutely love this otherwise

Jea seems so, i experienced it with quite some other games too. When the devs dont suppport mods properly with how they setup the workshop + additional launcher it always depends on the community to do it

Largely because Workshop HL2 is crooked ♥♥♥♥.

In many cases workshop never really worked to properly mod games - this here is just another example.

This is not worth it, to many errors. Will try my luck with Cinematic remaster + MMod and hopefully a Reshade with fake raytracing

Everyone who has broken textures try to check the integrity of the cache, I have tried dozens of options how to fix it, but no 1 did not help, the only thing that really works is to restart the game, check the integrity of the cache and start a new game (or restart the chapter), but since I do not understand the game files (models, textures) can not help, if there is a person who understands this and wants to help or understand we will all be very grateful)

To add to my previous comment, the game also instantly crashes when trying to load up Episode 1, 2, or Lost Coast.

Can confirm an earlier comment that this doesn't seem to work on Linux (Kubuntu user). In my particular case, when I try starting a new game, the game loads about 5-6 bars in, stops, then crashes with no warning. I have the log file but am not sure where to upload it. I did replace the load order file as specified in the instructions.

I really, really enjoy this collection, so first things first thanks to @Neutral for putting this together. I wanted to chime in to mention that, even though I've downloaded the workshop.txt file and placed it in the proper folder, there are still times when I fire up Half Life 2 and there are missing textures. I've found doing a "verify integrity" of the game in the Steam menu pretty much always fixes the issue, though.

I found out that subtitles work if you have up to 56 mods, but just 1 more than that, they don't work anymore.

It turned out that it's not because of any specific mod, but because Valve broke something. When you install many mods, the subtitles get broken. There is no solution (well, except to disable all mods)

I disabled the turret mod, but subtitles/captions still don't wont.

also added two mods and updated the load order (download the file again)

I removed the Striders mod from the collection because they are broken

В принципе как вариант можно распаковать все моды, и скинуть их в одну папку с заменной, например 4к текстуры в самом начале, а потом остальные текстуры, и в конце уже реплейсы/модели, когда качал моды с gamebanana по крайней мере так делал, как минимум конфликтов меньше, скорее всего все так криво из-за того что моды ставяться друг по верх друга, и игра не может правильно распределить очередность.

Но то что Valve сделали плохо это точно

Если ничего лишнего не ставить поверх моей колекции, то вылетов по крайней мере здесь, быть точно не должно
