@Jsen another thing you should do is remove "npc_sound_antlion_episodic(2).txt" from the script file, which I believe you mistakenly duplicated, and also can you add "soundscape_lostcoast.txt" for the script file?

Does it work when I try to unpack the mod and put it on custom folder without using the Script Multiloader?

I found the reason why some sounds are breaking. Its because this mod uses scripts so script multi loader should be in the required items section and at the top of the load order.

Currently breaks some sounds, most notably the hunter sounds in the attack on Alyx at the beginning of episode 2

I noticed that every sound altering mod breaks the water ambience, valve needs to fix this

So when setting up the mod for EP1, EP2, or Lost Coast, you can disable each one that isn't required.

Need to make the patches separate because it doesn't work all together.

fellows the original mod on gamebanana has a patch for EP1

it does. it breaks episode one's soundscapes completely. until it is fixed, do not get this mod as of now.

What a strange thing to come across.

I was in the midst of making a much improved version of this pack (one that wasn't full of sounds recorded right off of the soundideas previews that were incredibly low quality, and improving the non-faithful sounds) but abandoned it since I went onto other interests. Not sure if I will ever will return to this, but people are more than welcome to try and improve this regardless.
