No, any crafting system that would look at the entire inventory will have the problem. Thing is, seeds is the one thing that u can get a lot of from harvesting a big field :)

Been a while since i've played, but i don't think this is something we have control of, since by default all crafting tables have access to everything (i think?)... is that lag happening only with the gene table?

Currently restricting it by setting containers to not use items in it for crafting so i just craft from inventory

Storage chests are slow to access when u get beyond 700 items in them. For this reason I have 2 storage chests for crops and tree seeds.

However the gene table accesses everything so just accessing this table slows down the game and the lag exists for another 5-10 minutes after.
Im not sure of the game programming but is there a way to limit gene table access to certain tables and/or switch out which box it should access from?

I'm not splitting it, i just didn't add options to disabled it because already is pretty optional, like, don't craft/use the thing, but i'll add the config to disable it

Maybe consider splitting the mod in half with the new gene transfer stuff being it own mod. The "old" stuff is pretty vanilla+ kind of feel but the gene thing is a significant change that some may view as cheatsy and hate it.

Mod's bugged right now. Moving to the first base, the mod will treat it as if you are still in the world map, everything is in top down view rather than isometric and the world map music is still playing

@Mighty: so sorry for the confusion.

Mod is working fine. I started a new save and my Farming skill is below 10, so that's why the mod isn't showing anything. I went back to an older save and everything works. I totally forgot there's a skill requirement!

@coldcell, hmm strange, can you check your Player.log (can be found at: "\AppData\LocalLow\Lafrontier\Elin") and see if FarmDoctor is being loaded properly, you should see a list of loaded mods you can also look for this line: "[Info :Farm Doctor] DrakenyDev.Elin.FarmDoctor loaded"

What I did is: in the first basement, I plowed a straight line of farmland along the edge of the map, then adjacently planted a sapling at each interval, and fertilized them all once.
It suddenly occurred to me that a detail : it was raining that day, so the soil had already been watered before planting, I'm not sure if that will have any effect.

I'm sure I planted them when enabling this mod and operate correctly.Besides when it was expected to pass an hour in game, the screen would flicker once which looks like the birds-eye view in the setting of the map tool.

Bug Report: Upon planting trees, the area seems to be halted in time (I can sleep to skip ahead, but the clock does not advance). Additionally, the pop-up information consistently indicates that the trees remain at stage 0, and due to time stopping, they do not grow as expected.

按照作者对本模组的描述,施肥后可重新收获的效果应当仅对树木(苹果,香蕉,橙子)起效?不过它在我这里是对所有收获后不直接变为平地的作物(那几乎就是除了蘑菇和3色药草以及竹笋的所有植物了)生效了。我的存档目前还没能得到一株可以收获果实的树木,或许等到那时再看看。
*猜想:与政策的自助农业有关?与角色的农业技能有关,因为我的角色由于某些原因获得了过高的农业技能与种子等级(+100)?

我尝试了把所有能禁用的其他mod全部禁用,或者把本mod禁用,发现当禁用本mod后,因为本mod消失的作物贴图又恢复为正常了;尝试把其他可能对本mod存在影响的收获相关mod(例如自动收割,自动施肥,收获倍率)禁用而启用本mod,问题依旧存在;此问题会出现在收获后*留下植株*而不是获取作物+种子+原种植处变为平地的作物/树木品种出现

Seems like with the update, if you reload during a harvest time quest you get a black screen. After I reverted to an older save I spent some time disabling mods on any harvest quest I could get, and once I got down to this, I could reload fine during the quest.

Not sure what it could be, but I figured I might as well mention it, just in case.

@Kelven Ok, then i can safely say your problem lies elsewhere. It does sound like a bug, since as far as i know, there is nothing that prevents the growth plants, not even negative fertility.

If you find this bug again i'd recommend making a save backup and then trying to reproduce it disabling all mods. Also make use of fertilizers as they "act" on the hour simulation so it will hasten your testing, and also provide a fast answer since fertilizers should insta pop seeds.

Also for your understanding of this mod in particular, the only thing it does (without the regrowth feature) is read data of the cell and existing GrowSystem on it, to calculate the time to grow and postfix patching the UI function that displays the harvest interaction item name, so long story short it doesn't even touches the growth functions.

Hope your crops become healthy again!

As for mod conflicts, yours is the only farming-related mod. Other mods I have (not counting portrait mods) are: Bank Interest, Quest Timer, WidgetTimeViewer, No Enmity Between Servant, Compare Equipment, UnlimitedBlanket, NoFuel, KK Let's Talk More, and Better Tax Evasion.

So ya, no mods that even touch anything to do with Farming, but I'm unsure how modding works in Elin so maybe one of these mods touch the files your mod alters as well? Anyways, it may not even be an issue with your mod, I'll have to do more testing once it's spring again.

No, not using the re-grow feature. Here's my step-by-step process of how I did my farming: (All done in Meadows home map)
- Dug 5x5 plot of land using shovel, tilled the land using hoe
- Took seeds (5 each of Carrot, Imo, Radish, Cabbage, Tomato) and planted them
- Did NOT use fertilizer, also I did NOT water the crops ever (afaik watering isn't required)
- After 20 days, the crops were ready for harvest
- Used a sickle on crops until I got at least 5 seeds of each crop type for re-planting, then used axe to harvest the remaining
- Used seeds to re-plant (Grabbing seeds, then right clicking the soil to "plant" them).
- Did NOT use fertilizer, also I did NOT water the crops ever.
- At this point, the re-planted crops were successfully planted, but never grew past 0/4 stage. I waited another 30 days to see but ya, 0/4 growth stage the entire time.
