1) will the overwatch and city 17 start speaking in other languages besides English and Russian?

2) could the civilians you try to talk to in Point Insertion be able to speak different languages?

3) would the human combine forces speak different languages?

Oh it’s a fair headcanon, I just don’t personally go with it, especially since most of the staff probably died during the incident. I assume the lines about relocation in the beginning were to establish that people were from all over though.

If you think back to Blue Shift and its locales, there's plenty of indication of there being a large but unseen populace. Same with the Dreamcast game, Decay.

That said, I don't recall learning of anything that would lend credit to establishing the population of C-17 as former BM personnel. I guess this is one of those headcanon moments, hm?

Yeah, it seems that any mods that change the voices just break the captions and subtitles. Its weird.

I had been made mod similar to this about 10 years ago (I downloaded all GCF voice files speratly back then with each language settings and applied to the game) and lost the file with HDD corruption before publish on the net but never thought other modder made this. I hope you all be have happy HL2 times

i like the overwatch voice, its like it translates the speech for the other citizens to understand
