I really love this mod, it adds a lot when a bunch of things explode, especially in combination with the other physics and destruction mods I use, the destruction feels much more impactful

try disabling the debug features in settings if you have them enabled as a temporary fix.

I think it was this mod, some random ragdoll freaked out and spaghettified, causing an earthquake, and I kid you not, all the props in the map were shaking after it because of the earthquake. Does this mod have like actual physical effects or is it just visual and auditory stuff? It was truly something

i love that sometimes this mod causes random props to absolutely freak out causing a really loud and REALLY violent earthquake its SO funny

@Ktotoshniy I also found that setting minweight to 50 also stops it from happening, So thats a alternative, But i think disabling screenshake seems to be the best option, Also that sucks..

@ThereTheyAre Ive lost the folder with the addon so I'll probably wont be able to fix anything but you can disable screenshake or decrease the volume.

@ThereTheyAre vFire fireballs use VPhysics so they can trigger the system too but only if they collide with a prop. I've only encountered it when setting props on fire manually tho.

vFire seems to make this addon freak out, I think this might be because of the fireballs or something else.

This addon seems to conflict with "[simfphys] - Armed" and other addons that use "[simfphys] - Armed", the conflict isn't game breaking, just mildly annoying. The screen shakes a lot whenever you drive a tank.

Nope it reacts only to prop_physics collisions.

does it influence simfphys, scars, LFS, LVS and or WAC?

particle effects can be disabled. type ice_particles 0 into the console

could you make a version that is just the sounds? for some reason the effects cause these big, glitchy, stretched out square textures appear and it's annoying me. i don't know if this mod is at fault for it though.

@Zuletzt bearbeitet von REMO I dont really think that all ballistics addoons use props. In fact I've seen only 2 addons which actually used physical objects and Im pretty sure they were not actual props. I'll probably fix this soon though.

I don't know if this is a bug of a feature, but prop collisions will always trigger the effects regardless of if both props are eligible for them

example: I set min mass to 75 (everything else is default) and chuck a soda can at an oven, the effect triggers despite the soda can not triggering the effect if thrown at the world or another small prop

Now, I know this seems like a small nitpick, but for weapons that use tiny projectiles instead of hitscan (IE many ballistics mods) they will also do as the example dictates, and the resulting screenshake is unbearable at times.

does this conflict with tesion?

The workers head is a prop with a MAT_ALIENFLESH physmaterial. I havent yet implemented ragdoll/flesh sounds so it has default sounds which are metal.

just wanted to mention a bug, uhh.. when i kill an antilion worker the head is making the sounds.

Read the description or just spawn in any destructible build and break it. The addon should work fine for most of them.
