Hi, i'm very much loving the campaign. i like the small choice in armaments especially in the chdkz missions and walking through the woods really gives u the guerilla feel. just one idea for change: in mission 8 i believe "brothers" when u have to complete the tasks, u start at 4 pm and by the time i was going for the final task out of 3 it was like at 5 10 pm it was pitch black dark and basically unplayable (i had to use the car as a light) so 2 suggestions: perhaps scavenging nvg googles from dead CDF that might have them and at least a flashlight/torch for the ak47 and/or flare munitions for the gp-25 would immerse u even more in the trek through the woods while avoiding the apcs. cause otherwise i just press w till i reach my checkpoint with 0 awareness and cant do anything about it. just food for thought. Keep doing what you're doing!

Hello, is there any possibility that you will make a co-op version? We'd really like to play such a great narrative campaign with the entire team.

It's a very well done campaign probably one of best community campaigns I've played since maybe OFP and Operation Mercury or the FDF campaign. If I had one critique and it is a very small one when in dialogue characters would spell out the acronym for the chedaki instead of just saying Chedaki it's quicker cleaner not a big thing though.

I liked the campaign. I didn't like the very small variety of weapons. Many players like to loot weapons from corpses, but here there are only AKM, AK-74, a couple of times SVD, PKM and sometimes RPK-74 in boxes.

Awesome campaign, my favorite in Workshop for now. if you like immersive experience in era of post-soviet wars — try this one. My pleasure to see how the first Chechen war served as a source of inspiration and how the spirit was successfully reproduced.

One of the best ARMA campaings I ever played for 8 years. Seriosly. I went through it in one breath in a couple of evenings and really liked it.

Good mission. A few points for improvement:
- Some of the areas had like one or two enemies hiding in a building that you neede to kill in order to complete an objective. In the bigger towns especially that's quite annoying and can take up a lot of time. Would advise removing those more hidden enemies or changing the trigger for objective competion.
- The artillery script didn't work on the first mission, and caused my game to crash on the second.
-Voice acting balancing is a bit off, some people are quite while some are loud.

Loved the campaign especially when you get to play as both sides. It felt as it ended abruptly but that might be intended, DLC WHEN?

Hi @awfn, the task Recon Main Road is never completed. As soon as the coloumn driving into Gorka is ambushed the task to Recon Main Raod is canceled, just to clarify, that task is not supposed to be completed and it is not in any way related to the issue you have later. When it comes "Seize Polana", I'm afraid that's Arma's AI. The task is to clear out the resistance in Polana, I have even made sure to fail safe "in case someone is holding up somwhere" that the task is completed even when there are 3-4 enemies left in town to save the player the annoying labour or running around checking every corner in a town. Either load from last checkpoint or use "mission skip cheat", I don't know what is causing you that issue.

I have a problem with the mission "Through The Mud", "Seize Polana": I am in the city and also requested 0-0-1. There are no more enemies in the city and I am at the specified coordinates. I can't go any further. How can I skip this? Is there someone else hiding somewhere? I have searched all the houses. Please help. The previous point (Recon Main Road) was not completed even though I followed the instructions. Could this be related to this?

@markoford429 I finished a 430+ page masterpiece on Yugoslavia's downfall earlier this summer, you can almost tell some events were put into Purgatory. But real life conflicts can be somewhat sensitive. But who knows, maybe there will be something like this in the future. Thanks for that awesome feedback! Happy hunting!

It would be very great to make a campaign War in yugoslav There were a lot of battles there for example Vukovar, Mostar, Posavina, Livno, Operation Flash and Storm, Lasva Valley, Sarajevo and many other battles during the war in Yugoslavia, so far it is the best campaign I have played

Yeah, I just finished the whole campaign - a real gem in a good, classic spirit and using the best of what's possible in such a case (although taking too little TNT could be annoying ;)). Thanks for everything and good luck (especially with further such works)!

@markoford429 Thanks for the thumps up! I've always wanted to make a campaign with the Global Mobilization dlc, with two conventional armies facing eachother, so if their were to be another campaign, it would probably be a scenario like that. I also have the first mission of this campaign fully voiced and I would really like to rerelease the campagin with voiced dialogue and add the same amount of detail as the first half, if I have time.

I am using the performance branch of Arma 3 if that would matter. Will try checking with stable version. Definitely can replicate this with and without optional mods I usually play with

@honger It’s strange because the HoldAction should disappear after being completed, I’ve set the params that way. It is removed/disappears every time I test the missions, as it should. But it seems to be random for people.

Maybe I should add the BIS_fnc_HoldActionRemove to the objects/units to combat this

just noticed, in "No Respite" all conversations, saves and hints are executed twice. And in "The Checkpoint" the action to join the assault does not disappear after choosing it, it can be selected for the duration of the scenario on that leader AI guy.

The Purgatory campaign has been an on and off project for 1.5 years, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t thinking of making another one, I’ve learned so much during the development of Purgatory that it would certainly speed things up this time around.
