Love this character a ton, the growing gimmick is a tool I think is effective and hilarious.

Does have an issue imo with XSlash's hitbox basically spawning out of nowhere at 0 movement, but I doubt author is gonna fix it soooooo

The thing I find interesting is people only ever get mad when wendigos are put in stuff, I've never seen people get mad at golems, sirens, harpies, etc, other folklore creatures in media, it's ONLY wendigos that make people upset which makes me not care about their complaints.

It's a folk tail passed down from native Americans the interpretation i know is the Wendigo would basically take control of someone and force them to eat their family and friends also side note its a good character

if i remember correctly. in indigenous cultures it's a sorta speak of the devil situation. if you say its name you draw its attention. it being a pure evil thing you are never supposed to say its name.

I'm no expert but it was because saying or writing it's name curses you. Maybe someone who knows it better can explain it

The growth mechanic is kinda a nerf in some aspects because his hit-boxes do get larger but he also gets taller so he cant hit attacks as easy anymore. Great design, probably my favorite folklore creature, keep it up, God bless!
