this class is just a license to print gold lol. Once he is maxed out, he gets 3 pelts per corpse. Assuming you only get 3 bodies per fight, that's 9 pelts, or 11,250 gold. And they stack up to 7 per inventory slot. It's obscene, but hey, I certainly won't decry such a boon for my bloodmoon run.

i dont get, how his crystal trinket works
its lethal damage on himself or lethal damage to enemy
and heal who enemy or himself

does Trapper have Circus or CC trinkets? If not, can some be added? Also, getting the corpses and keeping them alive is a challenge with a decent party

Sadly prized skin is insanely overpowered as of now.
Cutting it's value roughly in half, maybe to 700 would STILL be very strong.

Other than that, amazing work! :steamthumbsup:

TO ANYONE who don't want to keep "prized skin" which have 1250 gold each to become balance.
That item too unbalance and need a nerf to make this class more balance for me so here how to do it.
1/locate the mod file "3362800212" (folde traper mod"
2/open "inventory"
3/open dis_trapper.gem.inventory.items.darkes with notepad
4/change from
inventory_item: .type "gem" .id "dis_trapper_hide" .base_stack_limit 99 .purchase_gold_value 0 .sell_gold_value 1250
to
inventory_item: .type "gem" .id "dis_trapper_hide" .base_stack_limit X .purchase_gold_value 0 .sell_gold_value Y
WHICH X = STACK LIMIT.I WRITE 10 TO MAKE LOOT CORPSE WORTH MY TIME
WHICH Y = Value to sell item .Which me is 100,i feel ok which this value,not too unbalance and worth to use the skill.Anyway it still free gold so don't make the game boring just for that.

Honestly I like the mod. It has a bit of an issue I see with a lot of modded characters where he really doesn't want to sit in one spot all that often and usually needs to be in a dancing build to be at his maximum effectiveness but other than that he's pretty chill. Also love the addition of a head trinket; always a good day when I have another reason to go Collector hunting.

Amazing and flavourfull class, i enjoy playing with him greatly, the skins need giga nerf, something like 200-250 gold for one skin most likely.

Bug report: Was going over the effects file and noticed the Improbably Jaws 5%>10% chance happened on *instakill* chance rather than the *heal* like patch notes say.

This guy goes hard.

The gold he can skin his way into is insane, but that's all he's going to end up doing if you get greedy for it and you'll be constantly micromanaging your party to keep corpses around for him to collect. So for that alone he's more of a situational pick, similar to Antiquarian, where you're confident to get through fights with just the three others.

Personally I prefer using him as a healer for my hyper-moving teams, just slapping all the "healing done" relics on him and he's basically a lite Vestal - but with tha mooooves, not focusing on the skinning much. Though it is a lot of fun the first few times sending him off on a long mission with nothing but skins in mind and returning with a fat stack of 60k+ gold.

Definitely not a balanced char but versatile and a lot of fun. Instant lock-in for my modded fun runs.

@Helyx_3728 I wouldn't say that even, early game he can still do some decent cleanup work or finisher work if you got the right party. A riposte that can bleed and debuff, matched with double damage vs marks or blight

Prized skins stack very high. I ended a quest with 36 in one stack, earned almost 70k on a level 1 long ruins dungeon.

A overpowerded boss killer (+100% mark dmg and acc debuff...), better antiquarian and healer in one. Great design but terrible balancing.

+100% damage with mark with fungal mark is feel overpower with me, with 50% damage is feel more balance for sure
"from above" debuff SPD and DODGE with 2 hit is too much.
confusion spore make enemy reduce ACC and it too much because he can spam many time on a single boss nad make they vulnerable.
Skin prey can earn too much gold and clear corpse that is too good for a skill
i think this guy need a big nerf because he got all good skill and also unbalance skill for sure.

10/10 in terms of look. His trapping skill is very good, basically 2 skills in one but balanced by average hp.

My only coplain is I wish he could use his healing skill from rank 2. For now he's competing with Jester, Vestal and strong back row DPS units and it's kinda hard to pick him over other options.

Lastly I would give him one more trinket just like serrated jaws but for blight chance so that his guard skill is valuable in a bleed resistant fights. Wearing both at the same time would cancel each other for balance reasons. That's only my idea after testing him. He's still fine without any changes :>

Liking this mod so far. The riposte and the heal make the Trapper a very good support hero. I tried the Slink Back -> From Above combo but it was honestly kind of lackluster in terms of damage and the debuffs aren't impactful enough for me compared to the value of the support skills.

The skin prize mechanic is actually quite fun, it actively changed my playstyle because I needed corpses to stay so no crit kills or damage over time. Agree with everyone else in the comments though, each one is worth far too much compared to how high they can stack (like 20 or so).

Either limiting the stack size to 5 (like gems) or cutting the price of each skin would make this part of the mod better balanced.

Agree with folks - skins are way too good. He can bring more money than antiquarian from the run, lol. Outside of it - great guy, both design and gamplay. Well, i didnt expect him to be a healer, but i cant complain with more healers in my roser =P

I see that I am not the only one who loves this character but I definitely agree that the skins are WAY too valuable. Especially as a fresh save this guy week 3 was an boom of income that is consistently able to pull more than the rest of the mission itself from his skins. My solution is going to be just to not use the skill but otherwise I think this character is awesome.

Bro, really cool mod but u really should nerf prized skin in one way or another. Make it stack for 5 or lower the selling price to 300-500. Too much of economic boost for now

Really cool character conceptually and visually. He's pretty fun, but the skins are WAY too valuable. Being able to essentially make a ruby that stacks higher off of every corpse is a bit much, maybe lower it down to be more in line with Onyx or Emeralds?

skin prey skill and natural provide it too OP cause the prized skin can stack infinite that you can make around 30.000-50.000 gold per expedition(skill lv1)when it go with antiquarian you can make over 100.000 gold per expedition
