Huh, I am shocked that would be the case since Downpour and Watcher have a lot of mod involvement, Downpour being made up of mods only and Watcher having modded regions and more made by modders. To me it seems the devs have always liked modding, and I thought Watcher was proof of that if Downpour wasn't already?

I think RainWorld's developers really don't care about this game, its community, or its modding support since they don't actually try to maintain compatibility, they just make excuses.

They're becoming more and more like AAA publishers who don't care about the community and who insulate themselves from feedback, which is why this game is dying, and it ultimately will die.

I imagine it won't die completely and when they finally get tired of changing class names to "weed out inactive modders" (that was a real excuse they really made) the modding scene might finally be able to flourish properly. That's to say, when the game becomes "dead" and quits being updated. I look forward to that day.

already left a comment praising this mod a while ago but thought about the mod again and thought it deserved another. phenomenal gameplay and presentation, with a really nice story about hiding away from an uncertain future only to be met with a just-as-uneasy fate

waited for a very long time for an update, and right after i find out it has come, the watcher DLC had a gamebreaking update.

Everytime i try to play with this mod installed the screen goes white when i click on any slugcat campaign. I've reinstalled and unintsalled this mod, deleted all other mods besides this one and the ones it depends on and nothing changes. Idk if this is an issue on my end or the mod

This mod is absolutely amazing, I'm at a loss for words, it was so much more than I could have ever expected, thank you so much for making this!

This mod is phenomenal, both surreal and somehow believable, and so fitting to rain world's artstyle that I actually had to stop and stare at it in several rooms (especially the mural, how did you all make that so convincing) .

Side note, jumping down that last section and not seeing a way back up, and a safe house, I knew something had to be wrong. I wasn't expecting it to actually make me sad though.

Context for the AU part:I tend to make AU's or atleast day dream about impecabble mods I love, and somehow I haven't done it with preservatory yet.

Also I played this back in October then had to uninstall it due to modding problems, so glad I got back to it.

This is one of the best mods I've ever seen. The lore is spectacular and the endings in this mod are strangely wholesome, god how I have I not made an AU about this mod yet? (Arti's ending was extremely sad for me because I imagine her pups are still living)

no white screen and black square for me but it is still freezing when going to the character select

idk what mod is doing it, but trying to open the character select freezes the game with a white screen and black square in the middle O.o even after disabling like most mods outside the requirements

The update has been properly implemented now, but it's possible that the errors could be caused by a different, unknown issue.

I think he might be active on the discord. Maybe try to reach him there in the modding channel. Though he probably knows about the issue and will update it eventually, so please don't harass him.

I found out how to let it work! Downpatch rainworld first. To do this, right click on rainworld in steam, select properties and then go to the betas tab. Go to the dropdown menu and select 1.9.15b. download all the mods manually in rainworldDB and use the "legacy direct" button to install them. Put them in ur mod folder and done!
