The mod itself is ok, but it of course doesn't make christianity any less bad..

@IphStich @Daarkh @Lonely Risk This problem is common with mods that make certain changes (I can't remember which, I believe it has to do with promotions? Either way the solution is once you have loaded the mods once, go back to the mod choice page and reload them. (So pick your mods, hit next, then go back and hit next again.)

I have the same problems as Daarkh, IphStich, and Didicet5671 with the missing unit panel as well as the explorer that can't be promoted.

When I have this mod activated (even if I play any other sponsor), my first explorer immediately gain a rank. But you can't use it as no matter what you choose, the unit doesn't level up and still have the notification of a gained rank.

I also have the issue with the missing unit panel, that IphStich mentioned in a comment below.

Hey, I've encountered an issue that occurs while this mod and only this mod are active. When I'm in-game, the unit panel doesn't show up anymore (the thing on the bottom left with all the buttons).

I've also seen this with a couple of other mods, and this bug only shows up once every time I start the game up. After loading or starting a game with the mod, then quiting back to the main menu, the bug doesn't occur again until I restart the game (which is probably why it didn't show up while you were testing).

I have no idea what causes it, but my current theory is that it's related to some sort of memory glitch, and probably something to do with a string somewhere.

This mod for some reason causes the unit panel to disappear... I have no idea how it would, though. The lua log mentions something about being unable to get an icon and "SPECIALIST_TRADER"

I'll want to play around with this for a while before I comment on the gameplay side, but you've just made my day. I love seeing Christian society in the positive light it deserves and I'm a fan of naval civilizations.

@revan9876 I may do Sweden, as I specifically accomodated for that. Otherwise, it depends how much support Firaxis gives the game. Not for now, at any rate.

@AngryEngineer I did, yes, but the Holy See represents the head of the Catholic Church, whereas the Christian Democratic Commonwealth represents an alliance of Northern European countries who use their shared protestantism and parliamentary democracy as a means of fostering solidarity. This isn't about Protestants in Space, if that's what you're thinking.

Awesome mod man, You did a great job and made a great civ. Don't Worry about all the trolls and some of the people who for whatever reason seem to inherently hate religion of any kind. (Also a tip if one guy keeps giving you shit even after you tell him calmly to go away and remove his comments feel free to report That.

As hate comments towards religion or the lack there of is against steam TOS.) Hopefully it will never come that you need that tip but anyways I think I will keep a eye out for any more mods by you, You seem pretty good at making them Imo.

I found a way that works for the movement panel to show up. When it doesn't show up go back to the main menu and disable the mod then reenable the mod and then set it up again. It has worked everytime so far. Saving and reloading does not work.

@JDF Hey absolutely love your sponsor mods! I have all of them and feel like they add so much quality to the game! keep up the good work! Quick question i am hopping to create my own custom faction mods, but everywhere i look i cant seem to figure out where to look for help, or even where to start or if i need a specific program or tool to modify and create custom factions. I am sure i am asking stupid questions, and will probably get ripped on for asking, but can you provide a few pointers o where to look or what tools i may need to help me out? If not i understand lol no matter what keep up the excelent work!

@JFD Save and load does not work, the problem is in both this mod and the other religious sponsor mod that you made. I tried both together and seperatly. Both was a no go on the display actions showing. I like both of the mods and hope that you are able to resolve this issue so that I may use them without having to use the hotkeys for the actions. The hotkeys work by the way.

@Maopy Yeah, this is something Firaxis is going to fix in the next patch. In the meantime, you'll need to set your Leader Quality in your Video Graphics settings to Minimal.

@MOELANDER I don't think it's currently possible to add custom voice - it's certainly not possible to add custom music as it was in Civ V - but thanks for the offer. If you want to translate the text into German, feel free - all the text is in the GameText.xml file. Just send me a copy if you get it done and I'll include it in the mod.

Oh and also Nice fluff on them. How can I help translating the text to german?
