Sorry about that. Thanks for doing the testing, I did similar tests on a new save with only Harmony and CE and found that the culprit is CE itself, not this mod.

oh btw this is why I usually don't take troubleshooting requests from steam comments. I gave this one a pass as I didn't have the disclaimer in this mod's description, but nine times out of ten it's user error. excavator man here is probably using some sort of inventory mod that implements a load shedding mechanic. ce has none. hell, ce doesn't even have a weapon mass check on weapon equips, so a pawn with 20 kilos of carry capacity can pick up and fire a 200 kilo weapon just fine

@ExcavatorMan I can't replicate your issue. steam comments won't let me embed images, but I've fired off a bunch of visitor events and got this guy:

mind you, this is pretty rare. you may have noticed that visitors are noticably more likely to wear backpacks/tactical vests with this mod, pawn generation will try to give load-bearing gear to pawns as needed. this pawn is over their weight limit due to having injuries that reduce their carry capacity and spawning with three reinforced barrels. the game assigned all loadbearing gear the pawnkind was allowed to have and it just wasn't enough (1/2)

and yet, they did not drop their weapon
I should also add, they spawned with the gas mask they're wearing there and took it off after a brief moment (that is normal ce behavior) which updates the pawn's inventory, surely any 'look at the inventory every time the inventory is updated and shed gear if over the limit' function would kick in then, but nope. so, at most, this is just somewhat immersion breaking
as I can't replicate this issue and have confirmed through testing that what you're describing simply does not happen, I'm going to wrtie this off as a you issue (2/2)

Has anyone else found a bug where a visitor with trade goods just drops a weapon on the ground because they are over their mass limit? I changed the default mass to 40 kg but then the pawn still dropped the gun when I tried to gift it back.

One important thing that's different is the default carry weight in CE is 40, and this mod changes it to 30.
It can be changed in steamapps\workshop\content\294100\3356748726\1.5\Patches\bulk_to_mass

Seems to be working fine in 1.6 running snapshot (dev) version of CE.
Might need a double check from @turkler or a bit of fine tuning, but I've seen no problems with removing bulk so far.

i guess you mean the backpack in the Extension mod "Armors" ye i didnt had that , i try not to bloat my save too much with needless stuff because the mod here says compatibility with VE mods.

Nevermind, Turkler. the bug comeback but, now i realize 100% the mod that cause the problem is "nuff autopatcher for combat extended". THIS MOD DOSENT HAVE ANY AMMO ERROR, BUT LOAD IN BOTTOM FOR MORE SAFETY

Turkler, the "no loading gun" bug that have Fluffeker was for not load the mod bottom in the listmod like what you say in desc. I figured today bcause i has the same issue with the not loading guns from vanilla gun expanded. Now is fixed, i hope solve this problem with someone else has

@Fluffeeker once again I can't replicate your issue with just the latest version of combat extended and this mod. in base combat extended the reload system doesn't even check for bulk. your issue lies somewhere else

I found someone on reddit proposing to change bulk modifier to low value, to make bulk impact almost non-existent. But I did that after checking with mod and without mod, on clean fresh save

Have no idea then, works fine without mod, and doesn't work as well when I change bulk multiplier to low value like 1%. Seems like it would be connected to some bulk issue. Thx for trying!

Hey, with this mod enabled ammo seems to be broken, even when I have it in inventory it says I have no ammo and can't reload weapons at all. All kinds of weapons, since game start.

Bulk was one of the reasons I uninstalled Combat Extended and loaded an earlier save, losing hours of progress. Wish I had known about this mod earlier. Great work my man!

@HAHAPIG4 I can add mass capacity to that too real quick but this mod was mainly made for people playing the generic ammo experience, which removes the ve backpack but carries its texture over so that there aren't two identical backpack items
