You could add a bit of depth to the cards so they don't look plain cards over each other like a bit of shadow around them so they look pilled up, but it's fine regardless of that

Please make a loadout example with the SMG and Medigun because they're two of the original High Roller's weapons.

I think the team colour bit would be cooler if it was a simple pattern like the back of playing cards.

Now THIS I like. Would agree the white is a little too bright, and I do think it'd be cute to swap the suits between team versions (have the black suits more prominent on the BLU version and the red ones more prominent on RED), but on the whole this is a way stronger design.

He's probably referring to the sharp contrast between the two colors. To lessen the effect, try adding some off-white blue and reds or yellowish to the white.
