Testing some dread tweaks: Emperors now face 100% increased dread loss and -50 to dread baseline.
Less for Kings and Dukes
Right now I can just compare two files, see that only difference between them is my additions and move on or apply new changes from agot mod with one click.
With changes you propose I'd have to either manually look through all of the traits or hope that traits order won't change and visual studio will pick up correctly what parts of 18000 line file align with a 10000 line file so I can look through it faster.
Increased compatibility doesn't always worth the bother. Agot devs themselves overwrite those files even tho they could have created a separate one with their changes. It's just simpler the other way.
Why not make a file called mayham_defines that only includes what you change.
Furthermore, you have to recopy over 00_defines every AGOT patch, because they might change something in there, that you have to make sure is included.
Same goes for traits etc.
Just compare & merge affected files when you need a compatch for anything and you good to go.
Please rename your files and don't just copy over from paradox / AGOT
