If yes is normal more i'm coming close to them more I have a fade out like the white trees become dark and like died (skin) ?
It doesnt happen to the green trees and seems to be a kind of LOD ?
Workshop ID: 2400370190
Mod ID: AzasFlags
on Version 41.78.16
The old and simple mod that supposedly just adds flags, fucks up the grass and dirt tiles and their smooth connectivity. The mod surely is unnecessary, as there are more up-to-date equivalents, but the maps Laconia and Laconia expansion list it as a dependency.
or is there already an option for that? i love the look of the mod, but dont wanna tank performance
I've been swamped with work atm but I'll look into it either Sunday / Monday and update it for B42.
Makes the game a little heavier due to the increase draw calls for the grass.
I have however optimised it to get a decent middle ground between looks and performance.
@Fastfoodboi09
Yes it works well with multiplayer, I haven't played in a while but there was an RP server that utilised it.
They overwrite the same texture files.
I will also not spend the time creating a patched version to work with it because the entirety of "beauty of zomboid" is AI Generated content being passed off a original artwork.
@Shini maybe is good idea to make a "temporal" new version of this mod (or a mirrored cloned just for B42) for the people playing on the Beta B42+ version of the game?. The update process is very easy in this case, @staind method works and it's just about copy/paste archives from one folder to another.
1) apparently vanilla tiles enhanced is incompatible fully, both mods modify same things or so, and even loading this after VTE apparently doesn't work.
2) existing chunks/explored locations will use old visuals, any new exploration will use new visuals, so it is safe to add to existing world just the changes won't be there unless you explore new areas (a bit jarring probably).
I am here to ask you: In what load order should these mods be: Vanilla Tiles Enhanced, Tile Fixes, Every Texture Optimized, Grass Lands? I am trying to optimize my server and avoid bugs and errors. Thank you!
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3351207258\mods\GrassLands and create two folders called ''42'' and ''common'' and COPY the media folder along with the mod.info file and poster file and paste them into the 42 folder. Then activate the mod in the game, and create a new save and also turn texture compression off. I think this is working for me and I'm on B42.2.0
Are you willing to update it to version 42?
i really love the work
