I'm sure that the "Failed to parse addon file" error is a bug of GMod itself,you can use Workshop Downloader to download the GMA and place it into the "addons" folder,that should work

Dude compress you're addon, file size of addon is so big that no one can install it, and mostly because of textures, delete some useless files and compress textures quality

visually stunning stuff in source can be done without faking pbr (infra is a good example) and certainly without making everything 2048x2048 rgba8888, 1024x1024 dxt1/dxt5 usually is enough
