@modmodmod Fixed, I checked the code of all the HSP mods now, and I updated the coding for the Changeling as well, the rest were already using the new method.

At the start of the campaign, one of Hexoatl's heroes follows you to Cathay.

If anyone else might be interested in multiplayer functionality; it's been tested, the mods work perfectly fine in multiplayer campaigns. :)

@Target Practice To be fair, I don't know. I'd suppose there shouldn't be any problems in general if you're all using the same mod list. I've added you on Steam actually, I'd love to try it out to see if it all works properly.

Do you have any knowledge as to how well this (and your other start position mods) will behave in a multiplayer campaign?

@David / Waveshaper Thank you for the suggestions, but I'm not interested in changing the targets, as they are focused on Cathay on purpose. They correlate with the different Cathayan provinces featured in the Wu Xing Compass as much as possible.

Or alternatively, keep the Lustrian targets, there is a quick sailing point on the sea where Yuan Bo can reach out after securing Cathay.

Hey, just a suggestion. For the 4 places of strong magic, I'd highly advise to pick Nagashizzar (provided there is a gigantic warpstone meteorite underneath it which is magic in physical form), the Black Pyramid of Nagash (it's a winds of magic condensator of tremendous power locked away), Wei Jin (for obvious reasons, the dragon emperor and the moon empress reside there after all, it's a floating city), and the Great Maw (whichever location represents it best / closest) as it is quite literally a mutation on the world because of magic meteor stuff.

@Aewyngs Thank you for letting me know about it, probably because I updated them using Prop Joe's Mod Manager, I will need to do it using the regular one on my other computer (I can't upload mods using the standard mod manager using my main computer for some reason).

In any case, I've checked out if everything works fine with the mods that you see as updated on the Steam Workshop, so you don't need to worry about using them.

I see you uptaded the mod but it appear not uptated in the mod manager. Same for the Changeling. The Gelt mod is ok.

@Chrissant I believe it should work, if there are some contents which both mods use, one will just overwrite the other's, depending on the load order. If SFO is not editing anything that this mod edits, there should be no issue at all.

In any case I believe there shouldn't be anything which would cause crashes if both mods are being used at the same time.

Let me know if you run into any issues if you happen to try them out together.

I suppose this won't work with SFO due to the nature of its contents.. :( Sad

@Next_Xeneration Yuan Bo has access to the Ivory Road (caravans) mechanic in vanilla. I did not give him access to the Bastion mechanic in this mod.

@Antagonistes If you mean the Badlands, that's where Gorbad Ironclaw will likely start with the new DLC. Also, Bretonnia becomes too safe for the Order factions without Grom there, so there would need to be some major work done moving around different Legendary Lords for balance in the area.

May I suggest for an upcoming start position mod to move Grom the Paunch back to where he was back in Mortal Empires? I think it would be way more thematic for both him and Eltharion the Grim to start there because it allows him to build his Waaagh! and go rampage the Empire, Bretonnia and eventually Ulthuan. Also, Eltharion's start position would make way more sense.

@Nemmy Wemmy Thank you for the nice words! Right now I don't have such plans, as I don't think many people would be interested in it. There is a noticeable discrepancy in subscriber numbers for a mod like Kislev & Norsca when compared to my Mother Ostankya, Balthasar Gelt and Yuan Bo mods. It would also introduce a decent amount of extra workload for me whenever I would make a new start position mod or update an existing one, which I would rather spend on making and publishing new mods.
