It is admittedly an educated guess that New Zombification is the cause. It's the only mod I've introduced that introduces mechanics to zombie attacks & infection. I'll be removing it today and continuing to monitor for re-occurrence.
Please fix because the idea of this mod is fantastic
And, since you managed to hack vanilla's infection system, it would be awesome if you could perhaps do something about how vanilla totally ignores how bloody the clothes are on the affected body part.
My idea which I would even pay for is to have a moodlet with time tracking to show infection progress.
Like you get bitten and there would be like a skull/zombie icon and when hovered on it it would show % from 0-100% on 100% death by infection.
