will you ever add any armament from the weapons dlc to your old exoframe vehicles?
AVUMP 1. nov. 2024 kl. 10:12
This is brilliant, but. This computer need full map, not single island. And optional no info from engine because I`m don`t need that :/ Mabye also need in waypoint mode num 4 shows angle from the azimuth to the airport and name of point with coords

fair enough
Aome  [ophavsmand] 30. okt. 2024 kl. 8:55
I made this because I wanted it myself, and I don’t want a 2x2 version
50°02'05.1"N 19°10'33.0"E 30. okt. 2024 kl. 8:49
why not
Aome  [ophavsmand] 30. okt. 2024 kl. 8:44
no

2x2 version maybe?
Have 9. okt. 2024 kl. 7:06
thats all i needed to hear
Aome  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2024 kl. 1:49
Alright, alright, I don’t have any plans to downsize this, nor do I have an easy way to make it smaller.
Have 8. okt. 2024 kl. 20:20
whatever bruh
Have 8. okt. 2024 kl. 20:20
i literally said you probably put a lot of time into this because i know this shit aint easy
Have 8. okt. 2024 kl. 20:18
nigga i aint demanding anything i asked if you can make one
Aome  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. 2024 kl. 16:51
Remember that this is a sandbox crafting game, and the person you’re talking to is not a developer but just another player like you.
Aome  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. 2024 kl. 16:49
Let me be clear
I didn’t make this for only you, and if you think it’s so easy to make, then you can create it yourself. I believe that making it any smaller would reduce visibility, and frankly, I don’t want to make a 1x1 type in the first place. There are plenty of 1x1 PFDs if you search the workshop, and I think you’re being a bit too demanding.
Have 8. okt. 2024 kl. 5:27
i think it looks and works great and i know you've surely spent lots of time creating this but unfortunately it just doesn't work for me in this state
Have 8. okt. 2024 kl. 5:25
just simplify the controls a little and have them as a composite from a panel
Aome  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2024 kl. 19:42
Because it's too common and too small.
Have 7. okt. 2024 kl. 16:23
so no 1x1
Aome  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2024 kl. 16:20
Regarding the pulse signal mentioned in answer 1, this simply sends a simulated signal equivalent to pressing the switch button. So, instead, you can just press the switch button a few times, and that will work!
Aome  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2024 kl. 16:18
1.When you open the microcontroller, you should find a set of connections near the center that go from "touch2 composite input" to the composite switchbox. Please modify it so that the pulse signal sent along the way is triggered twice. (Apologies if this explanation is unclear.)
2.Unfortunately, it’s impossible to achieve that with just a simple modification to the microcontroller. Currently, the system is divided into four systems distributed across two screens, but you would need to redesign it into eight systems for both the upper and lower sections. (This is due to the limitations of Stormworks' Lua system.) The simplest solution is to stack two 1x2 monitors on top of each other.
I hope I was able to help
Dude4081 7. okt. 2024 kl. 14:59
1. Im interested in switching the default screen for monitor 2 to the navigation display, i do not want to use any touch inputs on this and just want to use the artificial horizon and the navigation display.
2. Can i combine these two displays into one 2x2 monitor and so monitor 2 appears on the bottom, if so, how?
kostizplayz 6. okt. 2024 kl. 3:26
already implemented it in one plane, amazing. maybe an autopilot addon would be nice, but i think im asking too much. i was searching for a g1000, but couldent find one. this is perfect!!!
Aome  [ophavsmand] 5. okt. 2024 kl. 13:17
I’m glad it got resolved! I think my explanation might have been lacking too. I’m happy you’re using it.
kostizplayz 5. okt. 2024 kl. 6:25
thanks for all the help, and yes i was pressing the wrong button. XD
Aome  [ophavsmand] 4. okt. 2024 kl. 14:28
Thank you all for your kind comments! I’ve seen various feature requests, so I’d like to respond to a few
A 2x3 version
I don’t think I’ll be making this anytime soon. I prefer a compact interface, and a massive monitor that’s 75 cm wide and 50 cm tall is a bit unrealistic for civil aviation.
Additional features like TCAS
I’d love that too! But there are a few challenges. First, it would make the microcontroller significantly larger, as we’d need to add at least radar or communication antenna nodes. Second, the screen would become too cluttered with information, which would hurt visibility. In fact, I tested an overlay function for radar data, but it ended up overlapping with other info so much that the visibility was terrible lol

Thanks for reading this far! I’ll be posting more ideas in the future if anything comes to mind. Right now, I’m working on a 1-block-sized PFD integrated with analog instruments. Stay tuned!

I know this might be a little hard to implement, but I woudl love to see a TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) on the navigation display.

I guess you would have to work with radars to calculate the gps of other aircraft or alternatively have a custom transponder included in this controller. Only the people using this would get a warning though.

Depending on the complexity you could go for a TCASI or TCASII system, the first one would just display the traffic and turn yellow if it gets too close (horizontally and vertically)

From an aviation geek good job, i made things realistic and i also love the name citation. Love it:steamhappy:
Aome  [ophavsmand] 4. okt. 2024 kl. 3:31
If neither is the case, you should check whether the same problem occurs in the sample state before integrating it into your vehicle. I’ve tried to explain things quite thoroughly in the description, so I’d appreciate it if you could read it carefully before playing. Let me know in the comments if it gets resolved. thanks

3.When I cycle the pages, it does it on both displays.

I don’t quite understand what you mean. Possible causes could be:

•You’re pressing the wrong button (the button to cycle through 4 screens is in the middle on the right side, and the two switches at the bottom of both sides are for switching between the two monitors).
•A wiring mistake, where only one monitor’s touch signal is connected to the microcontroller.
Aome  [ophavsmand] 4. okt. 2024 kl. 3:27
2.The 3/4 pages don’t work?
This is also explained in the description, but this feature only supports the Sawyer Isles and Donkk areas.
If the microcontroller is installed correctly, it’s likely because you’re not in one of those areas.

hi kostizplayz
Answering your questions

1.How do you use the multifunction switch?

It’s already mentioned in the description, but I’ll explain it again in detail.
The on/off state of the multifunction switch is output as composite data from the J1000 microcontroller.
The top switch is for channel 1, and the bottom switch is for channel 2.

As for “what should it be used for?”, I can only say that it’s up to you. You can use it for controlling the autopilot or turning the fog lights on and off.
kostizplayz 4. okt. 2024 kl. 1:23
and when i cycle the pages it does it to both displays
kostizplayz 4. okt. 2024 kl. 1:22
and pages 3/4 dont work for me. am i doing something wrong?
kostizplayz 4. okt. 2024 kl. 1:21
how can i use the 2 multifunction switches?

amazing. a 2x3 version would be nice!
Aome  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2024 kl. 12:14
Thank you! I hope you try it out on your aircraft too! (If you decide to publish it on the Workshop, please take a look at the note above!)

I'm sorry for the lengthy explanation, but if there's something you don't understand or have any issues, I would appreciate it if you could take a look through the explanation before asking in the comments. It's probably covered in there.
