It didn't crash for me...
I don't know what the issue is.
Here is a command you can type in console to ignite Pingu for testing:
lua_run for _, Entity in pairs(ents.GetAll()) do if Entity:GetClass() == "mad_pingu_25" then Entity:Ignite(10) end end

I'll check it out and try to fix it.
This is likely because the map has no nav_mesh in the specified area, or the whole map. I'll add a text in the description that makes sure people have nav_mesh on the maps they're playing on, thanks! Btw you can generate nav_mesh by typing nav_generate in console.
Maybe try to give Pingu a bouncy ball?
