Oh.. I didn't think of that. I'll add a console command to make the game automatically remove your mask if it shatters completely.

Hey thanks for the fast reply! One last question though
How are you supposed to replace a broken one? So far i have to equip another item that occupies the shield slot to then equip the mask again

Yes, they are. Taking any damage that the mask doesn't protect against will shatter it.
As for the visual icon, i'll look into it.

Stupid question but are the zombies in nzr supposed to be able to break the gas mask?
Also the visual icon stopped working in the hud when playing nzr

Great mod! However, I only wanted it for the blood on the screen or other fancy effects like in Metro. I don't see it here, at least not yet. Guess I'll have to stick with the old counterpart (Contagion Gas mask; etc)

nice! I had a feeling something like that was done because my Reshade SSAO and other depth effects doesnt work when I put on the Contagion Gas Mask.

to be exact, I only used that Gas Mask for when I want the screen effects. Gonna try this one and see how the screen effects are. :)

The Contagion gas mask has a 3D overlay over your face, but as far as I know it doesn't handle chemical damage the same way this one does and it's no longer being supported.

looks great! does it also have similar visor effects such as dirt, fog or blood dripping? The "Contagion gas mask" is also really good and it also works.

If I had a better understanding of how animation works here (there is clearly more than just lua code here), then I could make gas masks for Umbrella fighters. In Umbrella Corps they are not bad.

the addon didn't update cuz the fix was posted over a month after you last updated the mod
