This could be a problem with one of the latest updates or it could be something else.

We are near constantly working on this so thank you for your input.
As of this comment we just played a match CIS vs Rep and I was able to beat the rep player with hardly any issue so it would seem that the problem of CIS being underpowered has been remedied considerably.
I will be putting out another patch here in a bit as well as making a walkthrough on how to play each faction :)
When i say this was a stomp i truly mean it we get to the end screen to see 3 captial ships lost on the Republic Side 29-32 Capital ships lost on the Confederacys side.
I do see a future for this mod and while the game started of fun with the mining being a real surprise the end was soggy at best. Im aware this is early access and a hope the modders continue to work however i believe the seeving of the confederacy players recusansts exploding constantly upon hyper spacing in real says what it needs to. Great mod and i hope to see the ground combat when it comes out.
It was at this point the Confederacy got tier 4 and spawned in 2 Large Recusants ready for battle they instantly exploded. Confused he spawned another, dead on the spot. For some reason ships spawning on the confederacys side will instantly explode upon entering the battle space to closely.
